Alhamdulillah, DMBLGIT August 2008 judges chose me as a winner for Edibility category. I won this category together with Jessica from La Cilieginasullatorta. Complete result can be accessed here.
I really am surprised and happy to win this competition since I realize that I'm only a newbie in food photography. My intention to join food photography contest is to get feedback from the judge so I can do better in the future.
It was yesterday night when I read a comment made by Andreea of On (Glorious) Food and Wine, a host of DMBLGIT August 2008, in . She congratulated me for awards that I receive from friends and she told me that some more on the way. I was curios what does she mean by that sentence, then I went to her blog and voilà "I won".
Since I started to learn food photography, I've been watching some food blogs with good looking badge on their side bar, and wondering when I'll get a chance to put that badge on my blog. Alhamdulillah, I have now.
I will be such a hypocrite if I told you that I'm not proud of it, since for me, DMBLGIT is such a prestigious photo event. Yes! I am proud!
Thanks Andreea for being a great host. Thanks judges for trusting my work. This award means a lot to me. I hope it will boost my motivation to keep on learning how to push the shutter :)
Thanks to my best friend for always encouraging me to keep on clicking and giving me positive feedback on my food photos. Thanks for all my fellow foodie bloggers for the support and inspiration.

OOT.. sebenarnya gak ganti rumah. kemarin WP lagi ada masalah kayaknya, rumah kami jadi berantakan. nyoba ganti theme deh.. sekarang dah kembali seperti semula.. :)
